The other day, Joseph woke up nice and early. (Actually, he was walking pre-6am for several days in a row. Ugh.) Add to that a deliciously and unseasonably cool July morning and you have the perfect excuse to go for a walk in the park.
Now that Joseph is a little older and a little obsessed with the world around him, he loves taking walks in the stroller. He enjoyed them when he was a newborn and then quickly decided that being snuggled next to mommy was the preferred mode of transportation. I don't blame him! Stroller, away from mommy? Or wrapped up tight, in mommy's arms? Tough call.
Anyway, after seeing some bright and happy black-eyed susans, I ended up taking a ton of photos during our walk. There was just so much beauty to be seen!
And once you start to notice it, you can't help but see it everywhere.
I heard a bird singing a sweet song. "Oh that," I said to Joseph, "that is definitely a gift from God."
A happy seven months old to this little man. I cannot believe how fast he is growing up!
